Prayers fill the silence of the void

Notions of control have been destroyed

When enveloped and caressed

Doubt collapses under its duress

It goes on and on and on and on, we go,

We start and stop, we speed and slow

Now we know we're all we ever had

We all worship idols good and bad 

Preaching to the prophets in the crowd

Heretics and loyals all allowed

Every leader's worshipped like a God

Hanging on the words they offer us

We offer up, we cast below
