It is dangerous out there

VERSE (D A G G)
In the morning before we ride
We say a prayer for those who've died
At the hands of a careless motorist
And forgive those who make a joke of it

Each road is an obstacle course
We're rubbing shoulders with a deadly force
It only takes a moment's lapsed attention
Or the release of pent-up tension

CHORUS (A G A E)
Every day we say a prayer
After each and every scare
It is dangerous out there

VERSE
Some people get in our faces
Say we're taking up too much road space
We hope you see every rider
As being one less driver

The ones that really suck
Are the enormous logging trucks
They come on rolling like thunder
You can get sucked right under

CHORUS

MIDDLE (Em D A A)
Please share the road (x4)

VERSE
The next time you pass a cyclist
I hope you'll think back to this
And use your good old road sense
Give us a whole lanes clearance

Even when you're parked on a side road
Please think before you unload
And be really sure
Before you open your bloody car door

CHORUS x2
